holidays 2007

heres a picture of Marcie, Noah and Miles relaxing on the couch.

holiday party

Here is a recent picture of Miles and daddy at a holiday get-together.

Not New, but great picture

I thought that this photo was one of Mile's funniest. It was the 1st cold day, so we put on his new puppy hat and mittens before heading out the door.
He really doesn't like anything on his head, but we keep trying..

Miles and mommy dancing in the livingroom.

Miles is already learning to appreciate music!
He likes many genres from classical to G-Love. Whenever we turn music on, he puts a big smile on his cute little face.

Hang on Sloopy! Ohio State beats Michigan for the 4th year in a row.

We have a new OSU fan in the house.
Go BUCKS! :)

Grampy Grover comes to visit

Ok, so it has been awhile since our last update. The time sort of slipped away, but I'll post a few tonight to keep the ball rolling.

We thought that a picture of grampy grover and Miles wouldn't be complete without a little fun.
enjoy!

Happy Halloween!

This lasted a whole of ten minutes, then Miles was too hot and had spit up all over the costume.

The Throne

Miles and his new swing. He's the king if the castle.

Progress

So Miles can keep his head almost fully upright now with no problems.
Here is a photo during a recent burping. Its a little blurry as he is constantly moving around.

Red Sox Win!

Last night we watched the Red Sox win the pennant. Miles did check out the TV for a bit, but he still needs to understand the mechanics of the game.

Proud Daddy

Miles is going to be an Ox, just like his daddy. He's already so strong and has almost been able to hold his head up by himself since day one. Jonathan is ready to pick out a road bike, running shoes and swimming goggles for him. It's so cute to see my strong husband with our little boy.

Grandma Judy and Baby Miles

My mom came down to Dallas for two weeks when Miles was born. We would not have survived without her help. She did everything for us which was great since I had a C-section. After all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, driving me to the doctors appts, and decision making of rearranging some cabinets, Joe still can't find some of his things. :)
Miles has no idea how organized he's going to be when he's older after a weekend at grandma's house - just like his cousin Noah.
Thank you Mom!

Joe, all of your 100+ triathlon t-shirts are now over at the neighbors house in their spare bedroom closet! :)

Grandmas

Miles is trying to get a leg up on grandma Joan.
He has been picking his head up now since his third week. Thank you for coming down and helping us with everything.

here's miles sitting in his boppy.

Miles and Harvey

Traci gave Harvey an opportunity to show off his brotherly love to Miles.

So far, the dogs have been inquisitive as to Miles' existence. At first, it seemed as if they regarded him as a new squeaky toy, but they have settled down to a supportive role. When he cries, both Walter and Harvey are attentive. When he is sleeping, they come over and try to wash his feet.

Traci and Miles

Traci and miles relaxing in the rocker.

First Bath

Hi All:

So Miles had his first bath the other day. We were preparing for the worst as we have heard that that babies really scream a lot when first introduced to water.
Well, Miles was very calm in the water, and actually stayed in place long enough for me to give him a mohawk.

Ch-Ch-Changes

Miles seems to be changing daily. He still has blondish brown hair and blue eyes, but his nose and cheeks look like traci when she was a baby.

last night was a good night- he woke up only twice, so we were able to get about four hours sleep.

Rocky?

I picked out a humorous photo for today. I thought that he looked like Rocky Balboa in this photo, with his fist pumped in the air after winning a boxing match.

He definitely is a strong baby so far, we put him on our stomachs and watch him try to crawl around with his legs. He also has developed an apetite, feeding almost every 2-3 hours. whew!
